FISHMEAL PRODUCTION PROCESS
- Material
Raw materials for the production of fishmeal is come from marine fish such as tuna, herring, scads, bank fishing,…. Fresh fish caught and preservation on marine vessels in ice and salt mixture to keep the fish fresh on the journey from the sea to the factory with in 16-25 days.
- Process
- The system automatically fishmeal dryer system with indirectly heart produce 3 tons of
fishmeal / hour.
Step 1: Fresh fish
Use fresh fish, almost fish and material is small (less than 20 cm); cut to 3-5 cm in length with bigger piece.
Step 2: Wash, remove impurities
Washing impurities mixed in fresh fish before transfer to steam
Step 3: Steam
Cooked fresh fish in tank in 5 minutes then move centrifuge parts.
Step 4: Centrifuged exclude water and fat

Step 5: Drying
Fish is cooked and drained be automatically transferred to tank dried by indirect heat system under automatically process and schedule time.
Step 6: Crushing and milling
Fish were dried in temperature have 6 -8% humidity and transfer through sieve tube system install separation of metal, bottom sector 3 mm will be used to separation of large bones and fish scales. The flesh is passed through the mill.
Step 7: Cooling system
Fish flour mill after the last heat is transferred to the cooling tank, is rotated (having pressure) by system of fans.
Step 8: Packing
Fishmeal has completely cooled reaches 6-8% moisture is packed in 2 layers coated PE and PP with gross weighing 50.15 kg and 150 gram packages excepted; accrual net weight is 50 kilograms.
Step 9: Preservation
Dried fish meal was loaded on pallet (1 ton of fishmeal/pallet) and arrange suitable to move inventory in Ho Chi Minh City to receive and transfer.
